The information here has helped me provide income for my family after being laid off from my high paying job, learn how to care for my health after overcoming cancer at 33 years young, helped in in homeschooling my son and much more.
I had stuggles in my childhood, as many of us do, which lead to drugs, alcohol, smoking and anger. After breaking away from the first three and got married to a man who, too, betrayed me and lived a double life. Ouch! From there I was left to be a single parent. However, God blessed me with a great paying job. The catch? I worked 3rd shift in a factory standing on concrete for a minimum of 10 hours and temperatures that sometimes rose to 120 degrees. This did, however, encourage me to homeschool my son. This is the only way I would have seen him and put MY influence and beliefs in him.
These times showed me how much anger was still inside me. Thank God I could see it. Many angry people, or people with any issues, are in such denial they never get help and continue to hurt the people around them. I sought help, I sought after God. He lead me to Joyce Meyers Ministry who helped me in a HUGE way.
Then, at 33 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Wow, what a curve ball. Had I really not been through enough yet? With my head held high I conquered that through Jesus and continued to fight my anger issues. Not enough yet? I lost my high paying job. I didn't worry though because my God would take care of me. What? Those were the hardest times of my life even over everything else I have told you. I went from having more than enough money to take care of my son to having 5 or 10 dollars to my name. I PLUNGED into God's word for guidance on faith. Man, if there is ever a time one needs more faith it is in the time we live in today! I saw God subtle work to take care of us and pay our bills and even send money for things we wanted and not so much needed. It was a different life style, but this too shall pass. Remember ... no matter what you go through ... THIS TOO SHALL PASS. The only way anyone stays stuck in a situation is by choice.
Now, I stay in God's word 24/7. I watch the pastors I have on this site, I attend an awesome church (a huge key), I read my Bible, listen to Christian music and talk to God almost every moment. This is the true key to successful Christian living. It works. Run to God in every moment, good, bad and neutral!
See, I have had a heck of a life and I have proven no matter what life throws at you, you can make it a good one. No matter your addiction you can overcome it. Many think that addictions are limited to drugs and alcohol, but it can be with anything such as: anger, eating, sleeping/depression etc. Happiness is a choice and you can lead a great and fulfilling life no matter what the course!
Why I Care ...
My life has been a roller coaster of events since the day I was born. If I only had some of this knowledge earlier I could have passed up some of the rocky roads. Though, rocky roads sometimes help you to be the person you are it would be nice to skip some of them. Agreed? You did not find my site without searching for answers for some type of question no matter what the question is. Look around until you find the answer.
